I chose a few dishes I knew she hadn't tried before. I ordered a tikka masala and masala dosa. dohemn tikka masala was medium. I didn't find it sharp. I could try some spicier next time. the dosa was totally okay. a bit too crispy. this flat where they try to tear it and it crumbles. it made it harder to put the masala in the dosa with the chutneys. when we went on, we tried to eat what we could. we had recently finished when the possible owner let us know that he needed the table for people who wait. it was interesting because we saw two other tables empty. Maybe it was a big group waiting for it. we took the rest after the payment and we went. I'm not sure where those other people were, there was no one out there. maybe a reservation? eating was good enough if I'm close and wanting to eat an Indian, I could see by. for those who do not want to dive, it seems that they also have a very busy take-out service.

The pasta mains are fresh and interesting, and the ribs and lamb were both delicious. The servers are attentive even though some are not experienced. The owner has great attention to detail and makes a point of greeting his guests personally. I recommend this restaurant.

The service is friendly and the owner, Mari, is the sweetest Japanese mother who sometimes compliments birthday parties with her son's live viola performance right by your table. It's small and looks blank on the outside, but the inside is colorful with seasonal flowers and filled with local artist's work. Mari's is a must go, especially for those who love authentic Japanese cuisine.
