Nestled in the historic part of town we stopped here for an aperitif in the early evening because of the Blues music they were playing. It was just a real nice ‘ambiente’. Drinks were good and the little treats that were served with them not your ordinary chips or nuts that everyone else does. It was so nice a time that we reserved a table for dinner for the following evening. The menu was extraordinary. Not something you find everywhere. It was prepared with care and enthusiasm. Chapeau! Well done!! I can wholeheartedly recomment this little jewel

Nice enough evening to be seated outside. We were invited to this restaurant, otherwise might never have chosen it but everything was so good, we will return. When I saw they had beef tartare on the menu, that's what I craved since one doesn't find it all that often. However, I was torn because the pasta dish with porcini mushrooms and scallops appealed to me also. Staff offered to serve me half a portion just to sample. I accepted; both meals were very good. Accompanied by a chilled prosecco; what could be finer. I had read the previous reviews of people that stated that service was better on slow nights. We were there last Friday. The outside tables were all occupied; I don't know how many guests were inside, though. Service was great; food was very good. Can recommend!

The other evening was the third time I ate here. Twice before for lunch. While the lunches had been of good quality and a wide variety of plates available, I did not have that impression a few nights ago. The menu is not in written form, but was read to us. Common practice in a lot of restaurants around here. No problem! However, my husband and I arrived before our friends did. There was one other table close to us where 6 guests were seated. We were listening to the menu being read to them in order to already get an idea of what to order. About 15 minutes later, our friends had arrived and it was our turn to order. A lot less options than the other table. I guess they ran out of food already at 8 pm. I ordered ricotta and artichokes as an appetizer which was very nice. Also the pork was good. My husband had the 'guanciale ' which was very tasty but nothing that would make us want to come back to this place. Altogether there was a total of 4 main dishes to choose from. Tripe, baccala ', pork roast and the beef 'guanciale '. I would have liked to have had lamb chops that I had eaten there before, but they weren 't available. Also no steaks! The fairly big restaurant was hardly heated. We sat next to the fireplace and still were cold. Only 3 tables occupied on a Sat night; maybe also an indication that price/ value is not the best. (At the 2 lunches I mentioned before, my friend and I were the only customers). I was also taken aback a bit by the fact, that the young waitress who served us prosecco at first, waited for us to finish the white wine and then poured red wine into the same glasses. Not up to standard for a place where you pay roughly 40 Euro pp. There are plenty of places in this area where one gets much better service for that kind of money.

Just got back from a nice evening with a friend. For me this is the best Japanese place I've eaten at in this area. Very clean cut ambiente, friendly staff and really good food. We had tuna tartare, the big sashimi special plate and some mixed tempura. Excellent quality for a good price. Will be back!

We hadn 't been here in a while; it 's a little on the pricy side. However, this was a spectacular dinner! Simple ingredients such as spinach as a side dish....sooo good. Lamb chops that I ordered were probably the best I had ever eaten. My husband had beef filet with green pepper sauce and he was going mmmhhhh . All accompanied by great wines, the Prosecco with our starters (antipasto), a Cabernet Franc from the Bellia winery in Pramaggiore and a super Raboso. Good dinner, good company in a nice environment. We will come back!

This is the place to go for grilled meats. Ribs or steaks and the likes. They are also famous for their fish dishes but we aren't fish eaters so can't say. The restaurant is a little on the pricy side. You might want to reserve for a special occasion.

We were invited to this restaurant which really is in San Nicolo ' outside of Ponte di Piave. Though it is a little tucked away, it is well worth a visit. There is ample parking across the street. Restaurant seems a little non committal on the outside but the inside.... absolutely welcoming! We were seated by a very cordial waiter at a beautifully set table by the window. We ordered samples of appetizers, one better than the other. Burrata, carpaccio, asparagus but best of all was the goose breast. We made the mistake and ordered 'secondi ' at the time we ordered the 'antipasti '. Mistake, because the portions were of such dimensions that just the first course would have been enough. Our waiter recommended prosecco (Foss Marai! to go with the appetizers and then a good bottle of Raboso with the main course. First time we 've been here but definitely not the last one.

We stayed at a hotel close by and were actually going to go to a different restaurant, That one, however, opened too late for us to make it to the Deep Purple concert. Ristorante 'Da Artemio ' had time for us already at 7pm. We didn 't expect much but were very pleasantly surprised. We ordered the 'gallina padovana ' as an appetizer to share. The apples accompanying this dish gave it a very interesting flavor. Home made pizza bread straight from the oven delicious! We ordered tagliatelle with porcini (ceps) mushrooms, 'tagliata ' steak also with porcini and a variety of fillets on a spit. All of these dishes very tasty. Rrustem, the owner, brought us some good wine to go with the meals and even offered a 'digestivo ' after dinner. Next concert in Padova.... we will be back! Thank you
