We made... leer más We travelled from the Medoc to Lauzerte to attend a wedding. We were a party of 8 adults and wanted a fine dinning experience prior to the wedding day. We made a reservation in England and were impressed by the reviews. They are all accurate...and possibly understated. Superb, Superb, Superb. Although it was still in the high 20 's in the evening we enjoyed a prime spot on the veranda outside. This is a very popular restaurant and you need to book in advance. Multi language were spoken but we practised our best french . We elected to have the 22.50 Euro set menu. The Salad The Quercy and candied vegetables is a meal in-itself. Well presented and the taste was excellent. The Creviche of mackerel more than satisfied the fish lovers as a starter. We tried several options from the main meal. Cantou Charolais beef was outstanding. (Don 't ask for it well done as it will still come back medium at best) which we didn 't and there was no need to have it overdone as it melted in your mouth! The Sea Bream was a special of the day and again the fish lovers were not disappointed. A variety of pudding were selected. We could have tried all of them! So in summary an authentic fine dinning experience set in a stunning location set at a sensible price. Excellent service and very attentive. What more could you ask for.
