We decided to give... leer más We have been loyal customers of the Kingsley Ave. restaurant for almost 20 yrs and have always had great food quickly with excellent service. We decided to give this site a try expecting the same type of service we always had gotten at the other site and man were we disappointed! All of the waitresses were texting on their phones when we came in to be seated and once at our table had to ask for water, then for straws, then for chips. Once we ordered our food we waited for almost an hour before getting up to leave. Our food showed up at our table when we were almost out the door with the waitress asking us if we wanted take out boxes (she hadn't bothered to offer us anything else up to that point). We declined the offer and left and proceeded down the street to Chick-Fil-A, where we were served quickly and well. Do yourself a favor and go to the La Napolara on Kingsley Ave...it may be a little further to go, but will be much more worth the trip!

They did the cake for my sisters wedding and it was incredible so I used it for my wedding in April. They are very beautiful and accomodating and the cakes taste incredible. They also did the cake for my sisters baby shower and my bridal shower and bachelor party. I highly recommend them. They are also very good compared to other bakeries like Publix. They are worth the trip to Macclenny to check them.

We started with the Snapper bruschetta and I could have had it honestly for dinner - fantastic! My father killed the lobster ravioli, my mother savored the shrimps and grottos, my brother hammered the butternut snaps, my husband finished every bite of his seafood meat flakes, and my fish tacos were on point! We can't wait to go back! The magnificent terrace for a great evening!

I expected a more robust menu from a place that looks like this and is on every list for places to eat in Jacksonville. The best thing we tried was the blue dumplings- very reminiscent of a traditional food found all over Southeast Asia. They sat us in the middle row of tables and chairs and there was no lighting for our meal- sorry for the dark pictures. The drunken noodles I didn't even picture because the presentation was awful and strangely hardly any noodles in the dish. I've had better. Not sure we need to return. The smaller mom and pop thai restaurants have better tasting food.
