I went with my girlfriend and it was her first t... leer más Overall I enjoyed the first time experience at the Point Burger Bar at 10950 Good Hope Rd, Milwaukee, WI 53224. I went with my girlfriend and it was her first time there as well. I will explain my order of food and experience with it and my girlfriends order of food in two different paragraphs. Portions are Generous IMO!! My food was great! Build to order Angus burger cooked medium on a (toasted (it comes that way delicious onion bun with sauteed mushrooms (BTW on the menu it says mushrooms but does not state that they are sauteed lettuce, tomato,pickle chips (my burger came with a pickle spear too swiss cheese. I added ketchup to my burger as I ate it. Burger was juicy and properly cooked IMO. Along with this I had onion rings and coleslaw. The onion rings came out somewhat coolish (not hot but not cold in temperature but were very good in done-ness and flavor. Coleslaw was superb IMO. My girlfriends food had no pickles FYI. She also had a Angus burger on a toasted onion bun. She also had lettuce, tomato, red onions, but also included hangover sauce on her burger. As for sides and differing from my order she ordered sour cream and chive potato wedges. I must say the Sour cream and chive potato wedges were a generous portion. The potato wedges lacked in flavor enhancing color and done-ness. The medium and large sized potato wedges had a granular texture when eaten indicating they should have spent a bit more time cooking/baking/frying. The flavor of these wedges was slight at best IMO. Onto her burger. The burger was the biggest let down for her. She ordered her burger medium well done. It was delivered looking delicious in the bun. BUT the whole outside of the burger was charred black. the inside looked medium well done but with every bite you would get the taste of charred beef. That should not be that way. Don't char a burger on the outside that way as it effects the overall flavor of the burger. IMO fix a couple things. Great place to go!!!!!

We were visiting from Baltimore so I had never tried it but was intrigued by the unique flavors. It was not really busy but the girl who waited on me really rushed me. She did not offer to let me try anything so I wasn't really happy with my selections. I got the mini flight which was basically four small scoops in a bowl. The ice cream was okay but I was expecting creamier. I would not go out of my way to return.

But the attitudes of the ladies working to take orders are complete insulting. We've always been able to sub a few small samples of their salsa for the large salsa that comes with the chips and salsa order, We've been doing it for ten years. But the last two times we've been the ladies have given us such a hard time and talked to us like we were scum looking for some kind of handout. We're great customers who have spent hundreds here over the past decade. We sadly won't be going back.
