16.09.2023 - 15:28We’ve been to Alchemy Elements a few times, and just like other restaurants with some age, they start to lose a little something. In the case of Alchemy Elements, I think they just stopped paying attention to the details. I’ve had the crab cakes here before, and they are usually good. This time, they were just dry lumps on the plate. No presentation, no side of any type of garnish, just a smear of some bland sauce. The rack of lamb was good, just not great. The flavor just didn’t jump at you like it should; it just laid there. The service was good, although it took a while to get our drinks and the bar was out of a couple of the better draft selections. Don’t get me wrong, Alchemy Elements is still a good restaurant just not as good as it used to be.

16.09.2023 - 15:12This was the first time we've stopped in to Butler's since they recently reopened. The menu has expanded, so they've added a few more traditional items. We ordered the Meatloaf Sandwich that was on special, the chicken and waffles, the meatloaf dinner platter and the wedge salad. The wedge salad wasn't the traditional quarter head of iceberg lettuce. Rather it was Romaine leaves stacked on a plate and topped with a few split cherry tomatoes, a smattering of dressing and crumbled bits of bacon. It was a lot of lettuce and not much else. The meatloaf sandwich was really good, as was the meatloaf platter. The Chicken and Waffles comes two ways: either with Southern fried wings or chicken strips. I opted for the strips. The waffle was good, however the chicken didn't have a lot of seasoning, but it was perfectly prepared. All of the food here is homemade and made-to-order, so you might have to wait a little bit. The waitress hustles, and the crowd doesn't seem to mind. I'm giving Butler's Kitchen 5 stars because of the effort and because they have a lot of potential for a little neighborhood restaurant. We will come back in a few weeks to see how they've progressed.

16.09.2023 - 14:48Wow! I just found this place and I’m so sorry it took me so long! The food is just delicious! Today I had the breaded pork chop with rice and peas and cabbage. The two ladies there were wonderful! A small menu but they are cooking what they are best at! I’ll be back soon!

16.09.2023 - 13:38The staff at first were a bit slow with the Friday night crowd, but did get caught up. The food was really good, especially the meatball appetizer. The Tuscan wings couldn’t be beat, and the pasta was delicious!

16.09.2023 - 12:12Placed a delivery order from the Iron Factory. They waited 20 minutes and then canceled the order. I doubt I will eat there again.

16.09.2023 - 06:22Was very pleased with first time visit other than the wait time for our food. Nice wide open, neighborhood atmosphere. Roomy, clean, friendly and relaxed. Perfect bar food menu and more. Prices were great especially the $2.25 domestic draft price for Yuengling. That alone will bring ne back again, and again, and again.... The only negative was the wait time for our lunch. There were only 10 people in the entire joint around lunch time and our food order took wait to long. Will not hold that against the Tavern to much, crazy times we live in.

15.09.2023 - 12:32There is no Starbucks at this location. If you work here, start a union so it stays open and the people that know how to run it take care of it instead of someone in Seattle.

15.09.2023 - 08:35Smallest Whole Foods I've ever visited... However, all the staples one would expect are all here, albeit in smaller, more compact display areas. There's only 8 checkout lanes as well, but service is the same, and the location is great... Feels like a local neighborhood market.

07.09.2023 - 14:36Old school bakery, supposedly a favorite of old blue eyes himself, Frank Sinatra, who grew up in Hoboken. Not sure if the old guy who's always working at the counter on weekends is Dom (or maybe Dom's son? , but he's always friendly and gets your order fast. He may look a little grumpy, but that adds to the old school character of this place. Most importantly, the quality of the bread is perfectly delicious. Don't let the decor dissuade you.... Definitely a Hoboken institution.
