Eating there is like visiting an auntie with a great sense of style and a touch of humor. Genrously large windows allow for a lot of natural light. The garden area outside is great for when the Dublin weather allows it. Staff is always gentle and attentive. Food is good with crocque monsieur onion soup being probably my favorite options.

The menu has many interesting hearty options to the point that I wished the restaurant was closer to where we live. The selection of wines is one of the largest I have seen in a pub/restaurant in Ireland. The food was very enjoyable. Service was nice. The area where we were sitting was extremely quiet. Maybe even too quiet but it's also true that we got in only a few minutes before the kitchen closed.

Food is consistently good, reasonably priced compared to other similar options, and typically fast. My favorites are the mildly spiced thighs the Peri Peri chips. Dundrum's restaurant was no exception for us in terms of taste. Unfortunately they lost our order and no one noticed we were left waiting while all the others got served even if the place was mostly empty (only 30% or so of the seats were occupied). I understand they have their rules about how to assemble food but from a presentation perspective I would have appreciated my order came all in one plate or in 2 small plates instead of 2 very large plates that looked mostly empty and therefore a bit sad. EDIT: we went back some months later and the experience was positive on the entire line. The type of quality we like Nando's for. We also enjoyed eating outdoor.

Because it was a bit out of our way we ended up opting for other places. Until few days ago when we were looking for a healthier chicken rotisserie and this place came to mind. Very happy we had that thought as the chicken was very soft, well cooked and quite tasty. The quantity was less overwhelming than I expected, which scored as a positive thing to me on that day. I shared a portion of sweet potato fries. I usually don't like them too much but these ones were quite good. Unexpected highlight: in a moment where all restaurants seems to have gone crazy with their prizes, Camden Rotisserie seems to have kept their menu at reasonable level. Almost pre pandemic. Will definitely come back!

I initially picked this place captured by the pictures of Veal Milanese. Funny enough in the end I chose not to order it, this time. When I got in I had an option to sit in one of the 2-3 tables near the entrance or go downstairs. I was concerned about being too close to the main door, so I asked to go downstairs. It was beautiful. Once there I realized I was definitely not dressed for the place and that probably it was not the right food for me that night: I was starving and would have hardly been able to enjoy delicacies. I ordered a sort of local meatballs which I found very good. A shame they arrived not as warm as they should have been or I suspect they would have been memorable. I appreciated a lot that when I mentioned it to the waiter at the moment of paying he immediately apologized and offered me a drink to compensate. The risotto with Veal Bone Stew (kinda) was super tasty and cooked very well. As someone who loves bread, I deeply appreciated the tray with 3 different types of fresh bread that I got served. They were all very tasty! Definitely a place to come back to once ready to enjoy it properly.

The atmosphere is really special and the experience changes every year or two as they are always exploring ways to re-arrange the space. Christmas is not over yet and I am already waiting for the next one just to have an excuse to go back! Because it's always super busy it may be hard to get ahold of staff passing around the tables.
