I like to enjoy life to the fullest, and to that I need to be healthy, and in order to do that, I eat my veggies! Souplantation is the best way to get a major veggie injection when I'm not at home. The selection is unparalleled, the staff is friendly and the restaurant is very clean.

I'm so grateful for Lair Hill Bistro for providing a warm and cozy place to wait out the storm. I had the potato wedges with gravy (a combination of two menu items) and tea.

Their vegan burritos are in the top 3 for Portland. Big portions at a reasonable price and friendly service.

Food and service done right! We had the tasting menu and it did not disappoint. We also had seasonal drinks which were refreshing and complemented the menu. The food was prepared with care and thought. Finally a meat course with flavor! Usually the meat course in tasting menu restaurants lacks luster, but Sails managed to get this one right. Lastly, the passion fruit souffle was the perfect end to our meal. A real souffle light, airy and with hints of passion fruit. We have been to all of the Michelin restaurants in Miami and Sails has nothing to envy them, in fact, much better than some with 1 star.

I wanted a dishwashing scrubby that wasn't made with plastic, and learned that escobeta is the Spanish word for a biodegradable dishwashing scrubby that's probably been around for centuries. I found one at El Torito for only a couple bucks.

I finally made it there for the first time and regretted not shopping there sooner. The prices are unbelievably low for the quality items I found, vegan ground beef for $1, organic cereal for $1.59, cashew nut butter for $1.59, organic soup for .79, and much more. The customer service was friendly and I got in and out fast. This will be my first stop for grocery shopping from now on.

This was a usual spot for us for ceviche. However, our last visit left something to be desired. We placed our main orders and while they arrived timely, the aide orders did not make it at the same time. After several minutes of waiting and not seeing any activity in the kitchen we asked our server. He appeared to speak with the cooks and then several plates came out but for another table. Again, the kitchen went silent with no further activity. At that point, we cancelled the sides as we were mostly done eating. At no point was there an apology or an attempt to make things right. We were even switched servers. It is unfortunate that the service and lack of customer service reached this place too.

Will will take care of you! I’m lactose intolerant so he offered to substitute the cheese with avocados on my burger. I also enjoyed the fried Brussels sprouts with buffalo sauce, not something you can find on most menus. p.s. I was actually able to sing karaoke on a Saturday night without waiting in line for over an hour, but let’s keep that between you and me, ok?

The chickpea salad was delicious and I'm so grateful to finally find vegan baklava! Exceptional service, and well worth the trip, even if you're not going to the hospital. FYI the photos show their old location at what looks to be a mall but they are in the Adventist Health Center Pavilion. Be sure to follow the signs for the Pavilion because there are multiple buildings at Adventist Health.
