All the classics on the menu but nothing stands out as either unusual or overly tasty. Not a heap of choice for veggies who aren’t paneer eaters. Staff and service fine but nothing over and above. Caters space for group parties. Decor and styling could do with some va va voom.

Drink choice extensive and pots of tea refreshes provided. Often a late afternoon tea has that prepared in advance feel, this was all fresh and full of flavour.We also felt under no pressure to hurry despite dinner guests arriving. Will return asap if I have my way!

Great selection of modern cocktails that are regularly revamped, classics are always available excellent range of drinks. Nibbles crisps, olives, nuts constantly refreshed by the very attentive, but unobtrusive, staff. Exactly the place to chill for an hour and return to the crazy outside world.

This year booked essential most of time for a fabulous plat du jour boar stew and a lasagne, generously topped with local cheese; followed by a cafe gourmand. May be at slightly pricer end of mountain food in this area but justified by quality evidenced by plenty of locals using it on a Sunday. Sharing platters esp. cheese ones looked v generous. Really quaint place best bit is outdoor seating where you can see over to La Rosiere enjoyed a great plat du jour spaghetti bol very typical foods on offer don’t be put off by cafe style queuing the food is tasty staff pleasant. Easy chair lift x 2/3 back to main Arcs.

Rated the coffee as one of the best on the mountain and if you fancy a little treat take a ‘baby’ whiskey with it Hot choc are a hit with lashings of cream. Yes it’s a venue with high turnover staff ‘anxious’ to tidy/stop picnics but if you look past this on a sunny day it provides great views and if you head round the back deckchairs and carpeted seats to chill.
