Although only a few options, the food was nice and service was great until the restaurant was full, then it slowed down to a standstill. Another beautiful evening and clearly a popular place. I had to start the chickpea dipping with Pitta, the chickpeas fritters for main (issued the crabs) and vegan chocolate ice cream for dessert.

Very clean and nicely build Taverna in the village of Adravasti on the way to Zarkos. The owner family uses mostly local grown products and the chef is definitely a talented cook and well above the average on Crete. There is a marvellous view over the hills, mountains and olive tree gardens too. Highly to recommend.
