This might be because I am not giving bonus points for having so many vegan/gf options. Nonetheless, it seems like it would make a solid lunch-spot or casual night out, but will not impress someone seeking out stellar cuisine. Quaint and casual decor with great attentive table service. The menu is rather large and could probably use some refining or curation since some dishes seemed a bit redundant. The food had a beautiful presentation and seemed relatively thoughtful and well put together, but lacked the heart and craft of some of the better restaurants in the LA food scene. A touch over seasoned and sweetened in a few dishes made me wish they let the (presumably) fresh ingredients do more of the work in bringing flavor.

I booked in advance and I even called the Dane tag and got the confirmation for the window tables. It was a special opportunity for my friend and I and we are not satisfied at all with the service.
