Many... leer más First, Au Diable Plaisirs is high on my recommendation list for anyone visiting Lille. We booked a table for 2 when we knew we visited Lille on Christmas. Many restaurants are closed in the city at this time, so we were pleasantly surprised to find that we have a reservation here after reading some great reviews online (and it did not hurt that we booked about a month in advance! . On arrival we met from our friendly and extremely helpful waitress Sylvie who showed us on our table. The restaurant decor is simple and yet stylish with a wonderful artwork on the walls. The menu will be displayed on a table that will be taken to the Perusal and to choose from. Sylvie has an excellent task to describe these dishes with which we were unfamiliar. She speaks excellent English and has a wonderful way that was most helpful to us. For appetizers we chose fresh crab served on a bed of avocado, and an extremely delicate carpaccio of beef with parmesan razors. We were not disappointed and enjoyed both dishes – #freshingredients full of taste, plentiful portion sizes and extremely tasty. For our main courses we ordered the Lamb Shank on a bed of potatoes and a creamy risotto with succulent scallops. The lamb juices had cooked all day, which was clear how the meat literally fell from the bone, and was tender about words and full taste. The Risotto was perfectly cooked, creamy and beautifully worked with the delicate, juicy scallops. It was a tough decision with the wine, as obviously a Bordeaux would have perfectly complemented the lamb, but rules are broken, so we decided on a very pleasant Pouilly Fumé Balland Chapuis, which was again a big hit with us and it went quite well with our entire dinner menu. Dessert was a mouth with water well homemade profiteroles with vanilla ice cream that was dipped with a chocolate caramel sauce. A worthy end of a #delicious experience! If in Lille and looking for somewhere smart casual to dine with excellent food, friendly service and with a reasonable price tag, then Au Diable des Plaisirs is the place to go! Enjoy your stay

C'est très agréable de voir un peu trop (entre le menu et 19€, ils servent 8 beignes de crevettes, c'est beaucoup)

Le service est rapide et efficace. En tout cas le ‘sosie attitude’ d’Audrey Tautou dans ‘le fabuleux destin d’Amélie Poulain’ l’était ; Côté addition, ce fut très raisonnable et l’équilibre qualité/prix est parfaitement acceptable!
