I would have given it 5 stars, with the exception of the lack of reliable setting of a server, who is requesting my group to extra napkins directly at the bat (he is just going to visit another table... we'll call him back after a while and remind him... no excuses are offered. (The management wants the crew to hold a meeting on PR. It's our first time here, so I'm not sure if they really don't give customers individual small plates for their appetizers. Your appetizer platter is really good and very filling, but since we 't have small plates it is expected to be fast around the table unorderly (we end up with a lot of napkins. Personally, I'm not a big fan of Tex-Mex cuisine, but I can say that I find Chuy's food to be scrupulous. Prices are reasonable. The place feels like at home because of the old pictures on the wall. There is a feeling of familiar clutter in VERY colorful interior and its collection of knick knacks, baubles and trifle. The ambience is not one of sterilized chicness... it really feels cozy. I recommend Chuy 's for his good food (we are there at noon on a Wednesday... the food service is pretty fast. Let's hope you get a more attentive server.
