We’ve been to the BavTav numerous times, and reading a few of the reviews from this August that gave low ratings for seemingly ridiculous reasons (I didn’t ask... leer más We’ve been to the BavTav numerous times, and reading a few of the reviews from this August that gave low ratings for seemingly ridiculous reasons (I didn’t ask for a table outside, but wanted to sit outside, but am allergic to the sun and didn’t like the table that was outside like I asked because it was in the sun) makes me disappointed in some of our fellow diners. It is rare when things aren’t absolutely perfect, but they don’t always have to be to have a great experience. The BavTav serves some really great food, in a nice setting, a short and pleasant drive from Calgary. Everyone we’ve interacted with from the Bav Tav has been friendly and helpful. We’ve sat in the dining room bar and both have been nice (the deck looks nice too though we haven’t sat out there yet). Tonight was no exception everyone was very friendly and courteous. For a starter we had a large pretzel and added the beet soup both were excellent. One of us had a sausage dish, one the eggplant snitzel, one of our kids had the snitzel and the other the chicken tenders. All were superb and the vegetable sides couldn’t have been better. We have a great and an enjoyable evening each time we visit the Bav Tav and couldn’t recommend it more.

We had never dined here before but saw great things about it on Open Table so I booked a table for 4. I would highly recommend La Luna Rossa. It is small and has a cozy atmosphere. The service and food were both outstanding. We'll go back again for some of the best Italian in Calgary.

Let's face it, you can find more exotic dishes out there, and even more delectable versions of...the same dishes they serve. but you probably won't find a better blend of Taste Value Speed Style then the Wok Box at Aspen Landing. The reason i say the Wok Box at Aspen is because, while all the other Wok Boxes might have the same food, they won't have the same owners. The family that owns and operates the Aspen Landing outlet are a cut above. They are friendly, they remember your preferences, they protect the things you forget on their tables (oops) until you come back to visit them again. They do everything with a smile and charm. Lovely people. It's a perfect stop off before my son's karate, it's perfect late night supper replacement, it's always hot and tasty and I'm not tired of their Kung Pow Chicken even though I've had it 20 times in the last 6 months. Wok Box is what it is, a fast affordable alternative to worrying about supper. Their menu may only have 20 items but they are all worth trying. It's quick and simple and enjoyable every time. Ask my son he's their number ONE fan.
