19.06.2023 - 11:14This little place is a golden jewel in Alton. We were very impressed by the selection on the menu, the prices were much lower than I originally thought. Beautiful selection of beer, wine, drinks. Very happy with food. Servers were very personal. Intimate local people.

20.03.2023 - 08:51Looking for GREAT handmade pasta? That's the place for you. Great service and excellent value. If you go through the north end of Boston and have the opportunity to stop. Please don't be disappointed. A lot of charm in this little place. Waiting employees seem to be family. Very heavy.

13.03.2023 - 06:13My review is based on several visits, including lunch, dinner, mid-week, and weekend. Overall, the service is standout. The staff is friendly, accommodating, informative, and servers are consistently excellent. Food is always fresh and well prepared. I prefer sushi, some friends like shabu; we all leave happy. The bar features custom cocktails and a decent wine list. The atmosphere is great with a range of seating options and the music is not too loud. It is great for weekday business lunch or a weekend evening social outing. Great location across from Porter Square T with plenty of free parking in rear.

04.02.2023 - 01:31Excellent vegan taiwanese eating, including some fun dim-sum options. our favorites were the Veggie-Back and the Curry noodles. we ordered it takeout and it took about 25 minutes to prepare. not especially cheap, but it didn't matter. Remember that they were not sitting in the free din-in places as 26 aug 2022. the personal was very nice. If we had lived here, we would be regular.

31.01.2023 - 16:25Walking into this unassuming, unpretentious space one does not know what to expect. Certainly, we were not expecting the most amazing sushi experience prepared before us by Chef Michael Monaco. Having recently eaten at a Michelin starred sushi restaurant in DC, there is no question that Akame was better, more special, more original and a relative bargain. I write this review with some reservation, as we would love to hold this discovery as our personal secret, but that would be most unfair to Chef Monaco. Akame Nigiri deserves an audience for its limited seatings, which I suspect will soon become prized calendar slots with bragging rights attached. Ask in advance for the Japanese Snow Crab with caviar. You will marvel at the skill and intensity that Chef Monaco brings to the preparation, and to eat such a thing is frankly indescribable. Waygu, FoieGras on crisped rice pre-desert, various beautiful sushis with customized original toppings available only at Akame. One insane serving after another. Just an extraordinary dining experience, not to be missed.
