Everything we ate was utterly delicious, from the foie gras, so decadently rich with the right amount of sweetness, to the exquisite ravioli with ecrevisses in its bisque, to the divine cassoulet- all definitely worth a detour to return for! The host/owner is warm and engaging, and fluent in English having lived in the US before. Service was very friendly despite being kept busy with the restaurant almost full. One of our best experiences ever, gastronomically speaking, in Europe.

I ordered the eggs Benedict (eggs and toast with hollandaise on the side) which was ok. Nothing was particularly wrong about it, but the hollandaise didn't have enough acidity to it, to bite through the richness of the eggs. In addition, there was a hair in my meal, which I took back and they replaced it quickly, but they didn't really go out of their way to apologise. Would have at least liked a coffee on the house!
