One unique offering from Poki Star is the option of choosing black rice along with white rice and brown rice as a base. I like the choices of add-ins and toppings, and the young staff that work there are always helpful and attentive. The shopping center also houses a Starbucks, Bubba Sweets, Taco Bell, and other sit-down restaurants as well!

The babyback ribs, bbq brisket, and brisket sandwich were so delicious and juicy; and they add a bit of heat to their bbq beans, which were amazing, as well as the mac n cheese, garlic mashed potatoes, and fried pickle spears which were breaded with a crispy shell and a very tasty coating (even though our table prefers them to be sliced as chips instead of spears, but no complaints here). We also ordered the Jambalaya, and it was actually too spicy to eat at one sitting, so you may want to forego this dish if you are ordering for a child or someone looking for a milder version of jambalaya. I forgot to add that the biscuits that come before the meal are light and served warm with a whipped apple butter that is a perfect pairing!*Lucille 's still offers a free dessert on your birthday, which was unexpected and very generous!
