Así que cuando escogimos un lugar de hamburguesas, elegí este. Sorprendentemente... la próxima hamburguesa en este lugar es de una finca Hereford a 50 millas de distancia. Así que cuando finalmente descubrí que no comí carne de res esta noche y en su lugar consumí un plato que parecía y sabía a carne de res, me resigné a asegurarme de que el próximo gringo que eligiera este lugar no se equivocara como yo. Aquí no hay carne de res. Tenían algo que parecía hamburguesas crudas en mi ensalada, lo llamaban una proteína en el menú. Intentaban hacer que saboreara como carne de res. Pero seamos honestos, no puedes engañar a mis papilas gustativas de la buena y vieja GRASA jugosa y sabrosa, simplemente déjamelo. La decoración era moderna, pero fría y poco acogedora para una buena comida vegetariana. También no había música de Enya sonando de fondo y el arpista en vivo debía tener la noche libre. Si te encantan las comidas vegetarianas, es posible que te guste este lugar. El ambiente es más de comida rápida, también ten en cuenta. Un ambiente sin el CD Watermark de Enya, simplemente no es suficiente para mí. Vivir y aprender a decir...

Costiky's is known for its ribs and they are not disappointed. The staff... don't speak English, so bring your translator!

I had cassoulet du canard (I had not tasted this since 30 years ago when visiting Carcassone in France, and I was so happy to have a Languedoc wine to pair with it at Chez Jules). The restaurant was fairly empty but we did arrive for an early dinner, at 4:30, since we were going to see a movie afterward. Husband ordered the cheese burger and fries and I had the pork pasta. Ok, whoever came up with the pork pasta recipe is a GENIUS! I LOVED this dish. So flavorful! If I had to give it a critique, I would say to jack the spice, in the sauce, a little bit but that's only because I'm a spicy food fanatic. The portion was perfect, too. Not too much, not too little. I don't like restaurants that serve you a meal that is so large that it's intimidating. My husband enjoyed his meal, as well. We also ordered a dessert the pot de creme. Holy moly I almost licked the bowl clean. It was difficult to decide on a dessert because they all looked so good. I think I may have to return just to eat the dessert menu. Can't wait to come back!
