The creative spin that the chef takes does not depart from the traditional but enhances the presentations offering quite tasty and textural dishes which will please the eye and palate. The friendly waiter was very knowledgable and helpful with descriptions. I do hope that they will bring back the paella which was thoroughly enjoyed on out last visit.

Everything was carefully prepared with the freshest ingredients and spices, a true delight for the palate. And the menu has a wonderful diversity of dishes, from Goan fish curry to the aromatic dishes of northern Kashmir. The owners could not have been more charming and friendly, and took a personal interest in all of their guests. We felt as if we had been transported to a dinner among close friends in New Delhi, which certainly lit up our holiday! Will definitely return.

We went to order a drink at the bar the bartender told us that we can’t order a drink because 20 people had reserved the bar area (which is a tight space to begin with) it would be too crowed. We had to immediately sit down although everyone was not there yet. The dining area is small “cozy” … cozy to the point where my colleagues chair was continually hit by another patron at a different table. We had to move the table back by a few feet as the waiter could barely walk by without bumping into someone. From the minute we sat down we were rushed. The waiter was nice however it was clear that they wanted to turn the table over soon. He questioned 3 of us When a few people ordered pasta for dinner. (We had ordered a pasta dish to share as an appetizer). When she asked for shaved Parmesan to go on her meal. After we finished our dinner we were getting ready to order dessert (it was also someone’s bday we were hoping to have a candle in his dessert) when the maître d’ came over and asked us to move to the bar because he needed the table. We were surprised by the but gladly moved to the bar area (which was not crowded as the table of 20 had sat down). They ended up buying us a drink for the inconvenience. One thing to note is that the bathroom situation is not ideal. It’s downs a steep staircase. There were boxes of produce that you had to maneuver around to get to the bathrooms. You also had to make sure that a waiter or staff member wasn’t running up/down the stair with food etc. The noise level was loud but we chalked it up to the holidays season and everyone was in a jovial good mood. All of ended up having a nice time because of the company. We agreed that if any of us were to go back it we’d go with 1 other person early in the week during a “quieter month”
