However as it was my husband's birthday the staff stayed beyond opening hours and prepared lunch for us. The staff were really nice and accommodating after the initial annoying booking mishap. Next time I will book directly with the restaurant.

The food was delicious, a wide selection of high-quality dishes. The room was clean, comfortable, cozy, perfect for family settings, perfect for a date, perfect for lunch with a friend.

But I was disappointed when I visited the Ploo. I'm disabled and running with crutches. When I used the disabled loo, I found it used as a storage room. It had a table screen, a large pack of loo roll (about 24 maybe) a sign that was at the front, a mop and bucket and a few other things, I would have made pictures, but I left my phone on the table. I was very glad I didn't use a wheelchair because I wasn't sure if I had been able to come in if I needed a wheelchair. But I can hope that this will be a unique event when it was a pleasant occasion and the man who manned the bar and delivered food was indeed very nice.
