Puddings were a lovely creme brûlée and a tarte tartin. Again, all delicious. The waitress was...patient with my ropey French! This is a tiny restaurant so I would recommend booking. Would definitely make a return visit.

Everything freshly prepared and the menu/specials gave plenty of choice. The service was excellent discreet but attentive. Barbara and Roberto really were marvellous hosts. Passionate about their food and very engaging. I would highly recommend Olive to anyone looking for really good food in unpretentious surroundings.

I'm sorry, but this cheese plague has nothing to do with a pizza. there is so much cheese everywhere. the teig cheese ratio is about 1 to 15 with some tomato sauce between the 2 layers. I recommend to see some videos of vito lacopelli and learn some pizza basics.

This used to be a classy, high-end dining in beautiful surrounds, where you felt special. Unfortunately, what we experienced last night was great disappointment: understaffed, slow service, noisier than a pub (terrible acoustics), an incredibly small table for two wedged between three large tables (I struggled to hear my husband), three rediculously tiny rubbery scallops (about the size of two-dollar coin) for entree, followed by long, one and half hour wait for the main which was less than average. The wine was drinkable, but not worth the price tag. We didn't feel special! Actually, I couldn't wait to leave. Overall, we didn't feel the quality of the service reflected the bill we were presented with on our way out. We felt ripped off.

Having said that we managed to avoid all the tofu/tempeh meals and had some amazing steamed buns with aubergine and some vegan noodles, stir fried. Great taste...and great service. We had two members of staff who explained the menu in detail and were very helpful. This was at the Old Street branch, Wagamama! Loved it!

The delivery came quickly in about 30 minutes which was impressive but there was no naan in the bag. Like any...customer I called the restaurant and asked them to send me a naan, after putting me on hold and speaking to his staff he kept telling me to look for a white foil bag which the naan was in but I had already told him several times that there was no naan in the bag. After a while of back and fourth he sent me another naan . Half way through my meal I got a phone call from the restaurant manager and he tells me I 've checked the CCTV footage and the naan was in the bag , I was mortified by the level of customer service and the fact that he called me half way through my meal just to try and cover up his mistake. I paused for a moment after he said all of this on the phone and as I was about to respond he just hung up the phone. I can understand a restaurant getting an order wrong or forgetting to deliver something but to call me twice and just be rude and condescending about the situation is unforgiveable. The thing that annoys me the most is that we actually enjoyed the food but the service is terrible. I now understand why it 's just a takeaway place, because if it was a restaurant they would get a lot if dissatisfied customers.
