We have been lucky to ski in Zermatt for the last couple...of years and have stopped at Alphitta for hot chocolate/coffee and lunch. It is very popular rightly so therefore it is necessary to book a table so as not to be disappointed. Dave, Tanja and their team are great hosts, super friendly and always smiling. The food is excellent and live music is performed on the terrace by Fran Cruz when we were visiting Dave Fran even persuaded my daughter to sing a song! she loved it thank you . The only problem I can think of is that if you are there to ski then don't come here. This is a place to enjoy the moment it may last longer than you intended! : We will be back in February 2018 can't wait....
