However, as a frequent solo female traveller I went down to three stars because of 2 important factors. 1 They don 't take cards, only cash. In this current climate of risk, it 's always safer to limit the cash you walk with. For the prices of this restaurant, there 's no give, here. 2 Speaking of only taking, you need to know the prices and check your bill (hold onto a menu if you must . They tried to overcharge me, and when I pointed out that the menu price was lower than the bill, my kind waiter pointed it out to the cashier, who then pointed it out to his boss who then proceeded to check not one, but TWO menus (trying to prove me wrong . Luckily I 'd already worked out my total, including the service and rounding up a bit extra because that 's also exactly what the boss did, no permission asked (in Colombia restaurants are legally obliged to ask if you 'd like to include the 10% gratuity . Clearly I didn 't mind paying the extra, but the flick of the hand calculations that he pulled to end up *still* overcharging me did not thrill me in the least. I really liked my waiter, but the behaviour displayed by his boss ensures that I will never cross that door again. I prefer honest establishments that allow me to choose to pay them extra (and have equally good, if not better, views!

Al principio no sabíamos qué pensar... pero luego de entrar, la gente nos saludó y nos preguntó qué queríamos. Después de acomodarnos, pedimos almuerzo y honestamente fue genial. No solo sirve jugos, sino también desayuno, almuerzo y cena. El servicio fue excelente y la comida estuvo buenísima. Todas las mesas que se muestran en las fotos son asientos reales, para grupos pequeños o grandes de personas para desayunar, almorzar o cenar, o simplemente para sentarse y disfrutar de un jugo, café u otras bebidas.

It turns out I'd paid more for the version of the dish which I was served (I got prawns, but I'd wanted chicken). This was pointed...out to me (quite literally) by the staff member pointing to the receipt, rather than speaking to me about it. I found this rude. I I asked if the more expensive prawns could be substituted for chicken, but I was told no and I'd have to buy the dish again. I won't eat prawns and I wanted chicken, so I reluctantly I did indeed buy my dish all over again. I was disatisfied and unhappy at this point... but that wasn't what has really driven me to write this review... When I order the dish I'd wanted afresh I was asked if I'd like to take the incorrect dish away in a box. I declined and said no thank you, as I wouldn't eat it. I thought that was the end of the matter, but when my correct dish was served the incorrect dish was again placed on my table, this time in a box... without a word being said. I found this insulting and was under the distinct impression it was designed to be inflammatory... to the point where everyone around me stopped eating in astonishment! Mistakes happen. It is a fact of life. However I'd generally expect a restaurant to provide the cheaper dish I'd wanted as a substitute for the more expensive one I'd mistakenly been served. I was upset at having to pay for my meal twice. Even then I'd accept that these things sometimes happen. However, to be insulted and to inflame a situation is simply inexcusable. I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone.
