Pizza was fine and the cookies devine, ut the wedges was a complete dissapointment. Was served straight away however I did wait a good hour when ordering before i went to collect even when the app said it wasnt being prepared then.

As was the gravy. The cauliflower cheese was too raw for me and too much stalk. Roast potatoes bang on though Compliments to the microwave for the pudding though I love a dry chocolate cake. I recall a previous review of this place. Last attending in 2022. I wouldn't return. It'll be a while before I consider it. I think the time has passed for carvery dinner restaurants. Certainly has in my opinion. Overall a mixed bag. Wouldn't recommend.

I've been here about 5 times over the past 8 weeks as it offers something different to greggs (and better) It's a busy bustling place and the staff seam to cope well, well most of them, more on that later. The coffee is very good and the choice of food and cakes very good. They are quick to get the drinks sorted and fetch the food to the tables. I wouldn't advise sitting outside unless you like ashtrays and smokers on dirty tables and plenty of flies. I don't think its a cheap place to eat, but paying more for better quality i think in this case is essential. Its a shame the clemantine cake isnt currently on show. Now the bad part and the reason why I would not return. I was in the Queue awaiting to order when a gentlemen in front which didn't speak good english was being served by a very rude girl. This server was losing her temper with the gentlement. She was then losing her temper with the hot food, dropping it and throwing it away like a childs dummy, rushing to get another lot cooked for them. Started swearing and muttering comments about this Gentlemen. Now I'm aware we all have bad days but this was on show and I felt embarrassed. I was close to walking out but with a short lunch i didnt have time to find anywhere else. A a wiseman once said, if you can't take the heat, get out the kitchen. She should have gone in the back and gathered her thoughts before coming back out.
