4.5 This place is called Hop and Spice for a reason, and the smell that greets you when you arrive makes you want to never leave!. Although it’s been around about 7 years, Hop and Spice is undergoing a bit of a revamp...

Only ordered take away from here. Pizzas were tasty and toppings were generous. They were a good size, however, the bases were a little thick. Chips were nice too. Will definitely head back and eat in to try more of their menu at some point.

As far as Macca's goes, this has to be the best I've been to! The staff are absolutely lovely, and always happy to help.  Food is always warm and freshly made it's Macca's so I can't offer much beyond that. The place is always clean and staff will quickly clear up after customers have left. Given we only ever visit late at night when other places aren't open, to have service with such a smile, is no mean feat! Good on them!

Georgie Porgie is an all day eatery on Bentleigh’s Centre Road – offering breakfast and lunch menus and burgers from 11:30am. We visited in the evening to try some of their burgers for dinner. The cafe was deserted when we arrived and remained fairly empty for most of our visit. We did visit early, around 6pm, however, it was a shame as it did make the cafe feel a little flat. I can image on busier days there is much more of an atmosphere. It’s a bright cafe, just about funky enough to have a cool vibe, but not feel out of place in suburban Bentleigh.

Mr Tuppy is one of those places I always intend to visit for brunch but then never actually get there! However, I have been several times for a drink and a snack and these guys do really great coffee! Their flourless orange cake is also delicious. <br/ <br/ It's a fairly small cafe, with a simple bare brick, industrial style fit out. The menu looks exciting and I do really want to try it one day. It can get busy, but don't be put off by the queues at the door, this is often people waiting for take away coffee and if you push through the crowd you'll usually find a table!

This is a great little Thai place, particularly for out in Templestowe where local food choices can be a bit limited. <br/ <br/ Huge portions with high quality ingredients and affordable too. Food has fairly authentic flavours and they offer a good range of choices with their menu. <br/ <br/ Decor is simple and it 's BYO alcohol. While staff aren 't impeccable they are attentive and try hard to please. It isn 't a fancy place but it 's clean and well looked after, certainly not scruffy just plain and understated. <br/ <br/ Worth a visit, particularly if you are local. Again, it 's another place where you have to consider its location it 's really good food. For the area it 's great food it 's not 'drive an hour because you must eat there food '.

Food: I was lucky enough to try this as one of my first Melbourne brunches. The food is delicious, great range of brunch options, good portion sizes and possibly the most delicious coffee I've every tried. Atmosphere/service: It's a huge space, with an industrial feel. They also roast their own coffee on site. Atmosphere is usually busy, yet relaxed. It's a very popular brunch spot in the local area. Service is excellent to give you an example, on my first visit, a waiter helped me search the cafe for the person I was meeting for a good few minutes! Would I recommend it: Yes, please go, even if it's just for the amazing coffee! Well worth it!
