16.10.2024 - 04:59Everything is clearly labelled vegan or vegetarian. The wraps are gigantic and stupidly cheap for the portion size. They are prepared fresh in front of you and served warm. The staff are sometimes nice and sometimes super unfriendly. Sometimes very fast service and sometimes painfully slow. It's a weird mix. The food is tasty though personal favourite is the cassava wrap. Inside and outside seating. They are open very late which is an advantage.

30.09.2024 - 10:21Loved the vibe, the service, and the food. For an omni place, the chef was very inventive and the food we had was excellent (did 3 courses arancini and cauliflower bites to start, tagliatelle and chickpea burger for mains, and both dessert options brownie and lemon cream). All the food was rich and flavoursome and I was extremely pleased with the effort and finesse put in. The vegan red Rua wine was also excellent and all the tap beers are vegan. Dessert was the least tasty course and I would probably skip it if I was ever back in town, but it was still good but the starters especially were exceptional

22.08.2024 - 15:16This place has been around for ages and the staff there are so nice, The food is fresh made and very tasty, and the drinks are good too. They have a lovely large sunny terrace, options for everyone (vegan, gf, sugar free... and cakes on display too.

21.08.2024 - 05:33This place is really pretty and the guy working there is very nice. The menu is large and most of it is vegan, clearly marked. The dishes were tasty and interesting, but for the portion size I found the price very high. Each tapa was €4.50. It is prenzlauerberg though...

18.07.2024 - 12:51Super nice location and view on the church and river. Staff were friendly enough and service was prompt. The coffee was decent and the food was nice. Only got a soup but the mains others received looked large. Only disappointment was the tarte au citron- not really what we were expecting and wouldn’t get it again

11.07.2024 - 08:53This place is a real gem it was recommended by a friend otherwise I would have just walked past it. Indonesian place with main meals and the option to try lots of dishes in a smaller tapas style. Menu in English and german is clearly marked for allergies. The vegan curries are delicious, especially the yellow jungle, urap, and mango salad. The vegan sharing plate as a starter was fantastic too. The prices are very cheap, especially for the area. There's plenty of seating and it's right next to eberswalder ubhf. The staff were really really friendly and did things like giving extra hot water for a second cup of tea, and providing lots of bottles of tap water. Highly recommended and great for bringing omnivorous friends too. If I could have given five stars I would have.

03.07.2024 - 15:04Cafe Lux is right next to Tempelhoferfeld and is very pretty inside and has outdoor seating too. They do waffles both vegan and not vegan, plus sandwiches and sweets. There is a decent amount of vegan options and the drinks are good. Friendly staff and decent prices.

02.07.2024 - 05:17DSW is one of the only shops of it's kind in Berlin and perhaps the only one in Prenzlauerberg. It has a huge selection of unpackaged dry staple goods (like pasta, rice, beans), herbs and spices, toiletries and cleaning products, fresh fruit and veg, tofu, tempeh, soya yogurt, some sweets, nut butters, oils, vinegars. They also have a lot of mueslis and so on. You can bring your own jars or tupperware though they also provide cleaned donated jars. You just weigh your containers before filling them, and label them, and then this price is deducted at the counter. They're always friendly and very rarely out of stock. It can get a bit pricey but this also reflects the food quality and the extra effort it takes to remove packaging from their offer. DSW are definitely a must visit for the environmentally conscious in North Berlin.

24.06.2024 - 09:52En français ci dessous. Nice little café in a hip area full of independent bookshops by a canal river. Outside seating area in the sun from 3pm.
