We stopped by for a little lunch and regret not having time to visit the place several times before leaving town. We ate the pizza you can buy slices of pizza al taglio. It was incredibly good! Airy and crispy bottom, tasty and delicate filling and many different flavors to choose from. It also smells absolutely lovely from the food that is made in the premises there and you just want to order more. They also sell many different types of delicious pastries that I would have loved to have tasted. Next time I will really make sure I have room in my stomach for coffee and dessert after the meal. The service was very friendly and good on our visit. We received a good explanation of all questions we had.

If you are a tourist in Ålesund, maybe real Italian food and pastries isn't what you're after. But this is where we locals go, for good reason.
