Ordered the breakky poached eggs with a side of mushroom ragu soooo damn good!!! What is in those mushrooms!!! Love the eggplant relish on the side too. Unique breakky goodness. Was hoping to try the pickled **** Mary but it was from previous owners. Would be keen to try a pickle version :
Our Friends had been raving about this place and wanted us to try it too. As it was 2 of our Birthdays this week we decided it was time to try it. Our friends had told us to eat light that day so to leave lots of room for the food to come, so we heeded their advice. We had been pre warned about the wait so it was no surprise when we arrived that there was a line up despite it only being 5.55pm. What did surprise us was the blacked out windows and lack of advertising that had we not known it was here we would have probably missed it completely. This only added to the intrigue of the place. As we entered the narrow entry we were 3rd in line with 2 other groups in front and 2 behind us. We were advised that there would be a 5 minute wait for the first group a 10 minute wait for the 2nd group and a 15 minute wait for us. We appreciated the update and no one seemed to mind given that there was plenty for us to check out on the walls and hidden here and there so as suggested by the server we grabbed a drink from the bar and waited our turn. Our Pink Lemonades were served in large brandy glasses and were indeed very lemony but really nice, The time went fast and we were soon shown to our table. Our friends wanted to try everything so we ordered 2 serves of Mozzarella Skins, 2 serves of Cherry Smoked Wings w Bourbon Glaze, Chili Con Queso Hot Cheese Dip w Corn Tortilla Chips, Slap Ya Mama Fried Chicken w Ranch, Chipotle Corn, Southern Fried Chicken Sandwich W Salad American Cheddar Chipotle Mayo Fries, Brisket 120g, and Pork Ribs Full Rack 1kg. We also ordered the Dessert Special of Cherry Pie but our friends said they would order their 's later. We tasted a bit of everything and it was all really nice. My only complaint was the fries were very thin and a bit dry and I would have preferred Chips but as the theme is American then I guess Fries would have to do. We ate and ate and ate, dipping and sharing and tasting everything. We were getting full but ensured we left enough room for our dessert, however, by this stage my friend had decided she had better order the Cherry Pie but whilst she was in line the waitress came to ensure we had ordered the Cherry Pie as they had only 2 slices left and both were ordered, despite the fact that they had made 10 pies they had sold the lot. So my friend was disappointed that she missed out. But we order more spoons and all tucked in. We appreciated the fact that they also offered a Take Away container for the left overs as although not much was left we didn 't want to waste a thing. We had been watching the door all night and were amazed at how many people kept on coming even when we left they were still lining up. We all left very very full and I have to tell you I was still full the next day and couldn 't even eat Breakfast. We will definitely visit here again well worth the visit.
Awesome in every way food is great, service fantastic and decor really interesting. Just drop the eftpos surcharge build it into your food prices annoying and unnecessary. And from Sept 1 this year new rules kick in for this practice.
Starting its life as a popular Food Truck, Sneaky Pickle found a permanent home in Kings Park. This iconic truck has gathered a huge following, selling out at every event with lines as long as can be. When I first found out it wasn’t anywhere north of the city line like everybody else, I rejoiced. It’s actually located in a row of quiet shops shortly before Cross Road. The front of the shop is painted green and the windows are all blacked out. It’s all very mysterious, initially I wasn’t even sure it was open!
