For more than ten years skiing in Adelboden and this café is one of our favorites. Absolutely the most friendly staff, the fantastic view and the wide selection of delicious Swiss cakes, snacks or light lunch available here makes the visit very pleasant. This place has real charm as it succeeds in mixing old and new. Very popular place among locals.

This interior definitely needs an update or just a mild make over!!!! The lunch was very good and the coffee with sweets to choose in the front of bakery were fine. Kids loved the frappee!

Scmid is a wonderfull old style tearoom in the centre of Adelboden right by the `Dorf` ski lift station. With its own bakery for bread and pastries both sweet and savory they have a nice selection delicious bakings to go with your tea, coffee,...or soft drink. The wiew to the valley and the mountains on the opposite side is stunning even by Adelboden standards another good reason to keep coming back time after time!

Meine Frau und ich waren für einen kurzen Ausflug in Adelboden und besuchten das Tea-Room Schmid zu einer leinen Zwischenverpflegung. Wir trafen ein wunderbar umgebautes Tea-Room an und wurden sehr freundlich und kompetent bedient. Die kulinarische Auswahl ist beachtlich und die Patisserie lockt mit süssen Köstlichkeiten. Sehr zu empfehlen.
