U Campanile - Ajaccio

Really tourist place. that had no taste. we had the menu and aubergine. I'm not coming back. they find much better in this beautiful city.

We had delicious lunch at this restaurant and the service was very professional. The waitress was very nice and spoke good English, which is not so common in Corsica. When we were on the way to Bonifacio in a coach ,we realised that we had...left our mobile phone in the restaurant. It was not possible to turn back,because the group would miss the ferry boat to Sardinia. We dialled the number of our mobile and the girl from the restaurant answered. She was so helpful ! First we thought of posting the phone to our hotel in Sardinia, but soon our coach driver remembered that there was another coach waiting for a group on the same bus park. He contacted the company and it appeared that the coach would still be there for half an hour. The girl from the restaurant, Georgette, was so nice that ,without hesitation,she rushed to the bus park and managed to give our mobile phone to the driver, who after a few days brought it to Sardinia. This is simply the best place to eat in Ajaccio if you are looking for local fresh food. Very very reasonably priced, with new dishes every day, we ate here 3 times in one week and would have returned had we not had to fly...home!

Chex Pascale is a lovely restaurant with good food and nice service. It's reasonably priced, too. I had the entrecote and chips which were decent. The chips were homemade and the steak was cooked well. The bread brought around alongside dinner was OK. Overall,...slightly pricey for what is it, but a decent restaurant nonetheless.
