Cattleman's Burger And Brew - Algonquin

After a great first experience earlier this week, we thought we’d stop in again. We were greeted by a server who was abrupt and let us know they close at 10pm, however Google hours show they close at 12am. The other night, the kitchen closed at 10pm (and we had an excellent server by the way which is helpful as far as my rating on this review). I think a business can certainly close early but why not take a moment and explain to a customer instead of providing false info about their regular hours? I would advise that this small business take a moment and update their hours on Google for early closures, and ensure their front of the house staff knows how to inform customers of the decision to close early. It really is that simple.

Our group had a fantastic time at Cattleman’s last night. We enjoyed the delicious food, the friendly and attentive servers and owners, and the lovely environment. Several people in our group ordered the ribs and loved them. We will definitely be returning to this great gathering place.

Great food, we had skirt steak sandwiches. Both cooked perfectly. Cheese quesidilla was big and had plenty of good toppings. The staff was really nice and attentive. No waiting for refills on drinks.Kid-friendliness: Wait staff was very accommodating and friendly towards our busy little children. Brought extra crayons and talked with them.

Crowded to sit inside. We had a party of 5 and was not very comfortable sitting. Cobb salad was very good. Side of fries was small. Drink selection is very limited for non-alcoholic. Burgers were okay.Parking: Parking behind the restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: I would say no to wheelchairs.

I've been to Cattlemens about three times now. Two other times just for standard cocktails. The bartender was very nice. The Cobb salad was excellent, ample with homemade ranch and blue cheese. The grilled chicken pieces within the salad was generous too. It is a bit of a tight squeeze in there and street parking to be a bit tricky. I give this place 3.5 stars.
