Le Verdon - Allos

We just had a raclette dinner at the Verdon and it was out of this world! The food was delicious (try the luxury version with truffle ham and juniper infused cheese) and we drank a couple of bottles of Roussette (Savoy wine) which complemented the cheese beautifully. Service was impeccable and friendly with a complimentary shot of Genepy (a local spirit) with the bill. Everyone was really attentive and quick. The owner’s command of the English language is tremendous and he has a great sense of humour! I can’t recommend this place enough! It’s perfectly located at the heart of the village, has great food, great service and great atmosphere.

Food quality was less than average, no spices/salt whatsoever No vegetarian options Waitress spilled water all over our table and instead of apologizing she blamed us for drinking water out of the wrong glass...

We went there with 16 people and get two nice tables. We wanted to order one pizza for two or three persons because we weren't very hungry but we were told that we couldn't. One dish one person. The waitress took most of our cutlery so we couldn't share a meal and she gossiped about it with other clients. She was very unpleasant and rude. I was embarassed with her behaviour. Although pizza was delicious we wouldn't go there anymore.

Great restaurant at the mountains. Taste food and sweet desserts. Good wifi and beautiful mountain views

Original dishes (very excellent house and very copied. the salads presented at the entrance are huge and make a dish alone, with a small dessert it was perfect. The rosé in pichet is excellent, do not change it please!. everything for a very reasonable price. the terrace is pleasant, very sunny all day. You have to wait in the middle of the season to have a table, which makes sense. but I was waited for 27 minutes, standing, with an ankle in the plaster without offering me a chair. never lived until then. one of the waitresses of a certain age is not nice and nervous, I understand the season that is implacable, but rather short here (do not come to work on the lady of the coast, here it lasts 5 months non stop and despite that we manage to stay attentive and patient with the customers
