The portions are reasonable and always tasty, offering good value for money. The service is excellent and the location is nice. However, it's a shame that ADC built the Berlin Wall outside, blocking the river views.

The food at this restaurant is delicious and reasonably priced. The waitresses are charming, and the surroundings and decor are lovely, making it a very romantic setting. The view of the river adds to the ambiance. The service is fast, making for a wonderful dining experience overall. It's hard to ask for more!

To begin with, I want to acknowledge that, aside from the owner, the female staff at this restaurant were absolutely fantastic. The food was delicious. However, we had to wait 40 minutes for our starter, and when I inquired about the status of our main course, I was informed that it would not be started until the starter was finished. I decided to request the food be packed to go as we were short on time after waiting so long. When I mentioned that we had waited nearly an hour for our starter, the owner approached us and scolded us for exaggerating as it had only been 40 minutes. He then proceeded to make excuses about being short-staffed and behind schedule, essentially dismissing our complaints. As someone who has worked in customer service for many years, I was shocked by the lack of apology or understanding. Despite being a longtime customer of 15 years, there was no effort to make amends for the poor service. The owner and waitstaff were overheard laughing and chatting in the back, emphasizing their lack of concern for our experience. Overall, it was a stressful and disappointing evening, and I have no plans to return despite the excellent food. The service we received made us feel unwelcome and hesitant to speak up about our dissatisfaction.

Our first visit since the restaurant has been under new ownership. Nice to see that the tables now have tablecloths and not wipe clean Formica! Very friendly staff, the young lady who served us was most attentive and efficient. We were impressed by not only the quality of the food but also the presentation. We all had different dishes and they were all fresh, hot and authentic. Definitely want to return and try some more. Highly recommend.

We visited the restaurant on Thursday evening, it wasn’t particularly busy and there was a man and a young girl serving. Both were helpful and welcoming and we had a lovely chat with them both. The food was beautiful, tasty, hot and superb, we could fault it at all and there wasn’t a scrap left on our plates! What a real gem of a place to visit, we will certainly be back
