We ordered the BBQ Buffalo Wings and the Whole Hog Pulled Pork Plate with Collards and Corn Pudding. Everything was outstanding. Kelly was an excellent server and our food came quickly!
Great wood smoked bbq joint serving multiple styles of sauce and lots of kinds of bbq (NC, brisket, brats). Modern and chique style place. A little bit pricey in terms of bbq but very good food. The grits and greens were especially good as sides.
Always fantastic. My family of 4 always has a good experience, good food, in an fun atmosphere. Parking is usually hectic during prime time but that goes for about every place in Asheville. Try all the different sauces, get a desert, absolutely great experience!
Heading home from a business trip to Asheville, from reading other reviews I knew I had to stop in and grab some lunch on the way out of town. It's great whole hog bbq. I had the pulled pork sandwich with their pork hash and rice. I had never heard of this before, but if you get by, you have to try it. It is out of this world. It's like a bbq pork gravy kind of thing. Hard to describe, but yummy to eat. The sandwich was also delicious, moist, tender and full of flavor.
Had high expectations for this place that were not necessarily met. Not to say that food was bad because it wasn?t, it was just not as good as the reviews had let on. The Pulled Pork was good although a bit dry which was the same for the Brisket. The sides potato salad and coleslaw were very good. The BBQ Mash Poutine was very good and a good introduction to The concept of a NC bbq mash. The Chocolate Chess Pie was amazing and definitely the highlight of the visit!
