Old school East Austin Tex-Mex spot. Excellent value on the lunch menu. Chipotle Chicken is my favorite. Try it. Service is always awesome.

2023-This place has not changed in 20yrs! Not even our favorite waitress!! 2018-Our waitress was very beautiful! I asked him to please hide the cake for my dad and when we asked for the cake, he brought it with the candles lit and singing the happy birthday song. It took us all by surprise... Best birthday surprise!!! She's been there for years, sorry I don't know her name... We've been going since we were kids.. Delicious food!! Huge dishes!

THIS IS THE WORST PLACE I HAVE EVER EATEN AT EVER!!!PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF FROM THE GRIEF OF WANTING REAL MEXICAN FOOD. YOU WILL NOT FIND IT HERE!!!!THE WAITER SAW THAT WE DIDN'T EAT OUR FOOD AND ASKED IF WE WANTED A TO GO BOX AND WE SAID NO.HE THEN MADE SOME LAME EXCUSE ABOUT THEIR CARD MACHINE NOT WORKING AND WE HAD TO PAY CASH. CAN YOU IMAGINE.MY DAUGHTER AND I AGREED THAT IT WAS THE WORST FOOD AND SO CALLED RESTAURANT WE'VE EVER EATEN(ACTUALLY WE DIDN'T EAT IT). Parking: HARD TO FIND A PARKING SPOT

My partner and I LOVE this place! Even though we moved out of the neighborhood, we still come back to Los Comales because the food is amazing and the atmosphere is second to none. There’s one waitress whom I have accidentally referred to as my mom because I love her and she is so sweet and kind!! The food here is AMAZING!
