Simmer Down - Baldwyn

We had my daughter's 40th birthday there last night all I can say Awesome!!! Everything from service to food was some of the best I have ever had. Friendly service from the time you walk in until you leave. Please do yourself a favor and try them.

Heard there was new owners so we tried it again. Steak for 2 excellent, little long on wait time.

Everything is as advertised! Every review we read was good and it was excellent!

We usually go about 2-3 times a month. They absolutely have the best salad bar in North MS. We start off with their HOMEADE cheese sticks. These things are massive. They aren 't your frozen cheese sticks you get at most restaurants. They are amazing. Then we usually get the steak for two. Being honest with you, they have always had the best flavored, most tender steak for two. It 's always been a thick cut of meat cooked to our liking and seasoned really well so you get a good tasting steak. When our waitress asks me if I need steak sauce, I always tell her, I hope not . This last time we went, the salad bar was still wonderful, the cheese sticks were awesome, but the steak was just middle of the road. I did end up having to put steak sauce on it and it was a lot thinner piece of steak than normal. Maybe this is just the new trend, but I hope not. Bidenomics had ruined everything else. Please don 't let it ruin Simmer Down! Also let me say that the staff is second to none. Always on top of everything you need. I don 't know her name, but there 's a black lady there and she has the most vibrant personality! We try to sit in her section every time we go.

Yall.....I can't even really put into words how AMAZING the food, service, and service was!! the little lady kept drinks full had food out super fast and those ribs!!! da !!!! literally my new favorite restaurant
