Applebee's - Bellevue

I have to say that this was my best dining experience in a long time because we had the BEST WAITRESS- Zakari G. deserves a raise because she was phenomenal! I met up with an old friend of over 22 years for dinner and we ended up talking for 4 hours at the restaurant. Zakari was attentive and sweet the whole time- she had great food recommendations, including the delicious molten lava cake for dessert. I cannot praise her and the food enough- thank you for making our night so memorable. We will definitely request to be seated in her section next time we come.

I recently attempted to visit this restaurant at 9:30 on a Friday night. We called ahead to inquire about seating availability and the 1/2 price appetizers promotion, receiving a confirmation for both. Upon arrival, we found the restaurant nearly empty with only 9 tables occupied. The remaining tables were clean and ready for service. The hostess/manager informed us of a 15-20 minute wait, stating that they were allowing the wait staff to catch up. I found this puzzling, as I have experience working in all positions at a restaurant, though it was many years ago. Short staffing is a common issue in the industry, with employees quitting, not showing up, or falling ill. As a result, tables may not be seated promptly, affecting the staff's ability to earn more money. Feeling frustrated by the situation, I decided to leave and dine at home instead.

The food was delicious and the service was excellent! However, when we requested a more secluded area, they informed us that certain sections were closed off and we couldn't even sit in the bar area as it was also closed. We were seated near a large group of teenagers who were loud and using foul language throughout our meal. We quickly finished our food and left feeling disappointed. Additionally, we were upset to learn that the half-price appetizers deal is only available after 9 pm.

My daughter wanted to go to Applebee 's for her birthday so we did and the food was great and the sevice was excellent. They were super short staffed, BUT they did a phenomenal job being attentive to us. Jeremiah was our server and he was wonderful. He hilariously sang Happy Birthday to my daughter and of course we got a free dessert. After a few minutes one of the managers walked by and told my daughter that if she could answer a question correctly, he would pay for one of our entrees. He asked Do we talk about Bruno? And of course my daughter said No! We all laughed and it was a good time. The staff went above and beyond for no reason and they definitely were working hard. Everyone working there that night deserves some recognition and a raise!

I ordered from here and was highly disappointed! My dasher was fast but my steak was cold and nasty. The salad was gross and tasted old and the croutons tasted like they were sitting on top of a trash can over the weekend . And I didn't receive my second item . Will never order from here again!
