La Gino - Berlin

Il caffè è pessimo, lo staff lascia a desiderare. Rapporto qualità prezzo negativo, Il locale è poco accogliente.

Fair prices and good location. I tried their coffee - which was ok. Their cakes are simply delicious - I loved the cakes, especially the apple pie. Had the roasted potatoes, eggs and salad - tasted good and the portions are fair. Their smoothies are really boring and too expensive compared to what you get - so stay away from their smoothies. However, I would recommend the coffee, the cake and the food - they have fair prices and a reasonable selection. Also fair service

We stayed at the Best Western Berlin-Mitte hotel. It offers a breakfast buffet for the guests at €12 each. The buffet didn't look all that good to us and we didn't want to pay that much for breakfast. So we wandered out to see what was in the neighborhood. Less than a block away is La Gino. Everything looked delicious and fresh. My husband ordered scrambled eggs with ham. When it was served it had a nice salad on the plate along with a very good portion of eggs with chopped ham in it. A delicious freshly baked Italian roll came alongside. We ordered two cappuccinos, I had a piece of delicious spinach quiche and we ordered an apple pastry. Our entire check for all of that was only €12 total! And everything tasted very good. It not only looked fresh it was fresh! We plan to eat there again today the second day we are here, and it is a Saturday, and unfortunately La Gino doesn't open till 8 AM so we have to wait! There are no hours posted on the door so we didn't have any idea what time they open on the weekends. They were open much earlier yesterday which was Friday.

Regelmäßig esse ich dort zu Mittag. Eine vielfältige Katte, vielleicht etwas mediterrane Prägung, zu günstigen Preisen und nettem Service.Zwischen 12.00 und 13.30 Uhr ist Rush Hour. Sonst alles gut!

Udmærket oplevelse, hvor vi fik god pizza og en god pasta. Prisen absolut ok, og i kort afstand til Check Point Charlie.
