Pan Africa - Berlin

Was very disappointing as I had wanted to treat family to a quality meal. Was quite expensive and the food was very poor but worst was the waiting an hour for food to arrive. 2 hours overall for precooked food. Other people there were also draped over chairs in various attitudes of pain & starvation. I had dry & cold chicken which just had a hot sauce poured on, with soggy chips which had obviously been hanging around for some time. The sauce was quite tasty but not so the other meals, of similar vintage but without flavour. The salad was ok. The staff were friendly but it was like a slow motion movie watching them, to the point of exasperation. I felt robbed.

The food is top with the portions really big! Started with a samosa which was amazing, and the main dishes were really tasty (chicken filled with spinach and chicken in lemon and mustard sauce). When in Berlin I'd go here again!

I have visited Pan Africa several times and enjoyed different dishes from a menu that changes regularly, all of them very good. The portions are quite big. They also have a nice selection of African beers.

Such a nice service and the food is very different from what we are used to. Also the food was delicious. Very nice place aswell :)

Delicious and really big portions! we had all vegan stuff.
