Friendly Tap - Berwyn

Saw a band, The Shanks, play. Good service and lively crowd, location was very, very small. Friendly Tap has 2 sides and band played on the smaller side this time. Did not eat, just had drinks

Went for open mic night. Everyone was friendly, . Good music. Great place to start a songwriting dream

I'll be honest with you--I did not want to write this review. I want to keep the Friendly Tap Community a secret. You won't find any place like it. They've got a bar, a coffee shop, live music, open mic night, music lessons, an 80s arcade machine with multiple games, snacks and pizza, and a gallery for shows and other events. Go there often enough and your name will be learned not only by the super-friendly staff, but by other patrons as well. Friendly's lives up to its name well beyond what you may expect. If you can only come here once, come on a Thursday night. There's almost always live music on Thursdays--see my video for an example. If you do go on a Thursday, ask for me so I can welcome you personally.

Friendly’s is my favorite spot to hang out and work! Everyone there is truly Friendly and the vibe is super chill. The coffee is awesome and once you’re done with work for the day you can walk a few feet over to the bar and grab a beer! Best of both worlds! There is also live music most nights! Highly recommend!!!

Had a blast visiting this bar which turns out to have great live music coffee as well! The staff was absolutely inviting friendly. Just happened to randomly stop in and will come back! Check it out for a drink and some live music !
