Food was overpriced. No almonds for the Trout Almondine, Filet overcooked and told there was no butter for baked potato...with the exception of honey butter!
Really good evidence. The food was good and the service was great.
Field’s Steak and Oyster Bar is one of the best restaurants that we have visited in a long time! Had a group of 6 and we ordered a little of everything. Appetizers, oysters, steaks, sides, and desert were amazing. Service was phenomenal, restaurant was really nice, and the chef even came out to talk with us towards the end of the meal. We loved one of the desserts so much that he offered to bring us another one lol! Strongly recommend Field’s for any occasion.
Overall, Fields is just ok in my book. The menu isn’t very extensive. One fish, one pasta, one chicken, and three steak entree options. All of the entrees have been good but the choices are limited. The value compared to other restaurants in the area isn’t quite there. Mignons, White Pillars, and The Chimneys are all a better destination. Fields is ok if you’re in the area but it’s not anything special.
