Le Bistrot du Broc - Bourron-Marlotte

Nice starter but not what I ordered, a new server brought it to the wrong table. Main of duck was not as tender as I would have expected. Very popular and a nice room but just not worth a rating of 5.

Located in the middle of Bourron Marlotte, a very scenic village, this place used to be an antique shop (and a garage prior to that). A nice backyard is supplemented by a pleasant main dining room. The menu is extensive, and what we had was...excellent. Supern wine list and friendly service make this a real treat!

We were there with friends on a sizzling hot summer night but couldn't have been more comfortable or better looked after than we were. Bourron-Marlotte is a lovely village outside of Fontainebleau and the Bistrot du Broc deserves the numerous accolades from the TA community....Great mix of folks at the restaurant and the owner and staff were all wonderful.

Staying for a night at a near by farm BnB, the host suggested the Bistrot for dinner. We travel off season so we got in on time for a seat. I would make a reservation, the locals fill in fast. We had a delightful meal...of rolled veal loin with prosciutto and provolone, au jus. Desert was spectacular. The owner spent time with us telling the interesting story of the town.
