The royal oak is located on the side of the canal, it has a beer garden that returns to the canal and can also eat in doors. due to the Kovid restrictions, it is best to make calls and book a reservation when there are many of them going. we had a party of 8, six adult and two children and we were able to sit close to each other. the staff was great with the children and eating was very nice. would recommend.
Every time we stay in pencelli castle caravan and camping park, we always make sure we have at least one meal here. we were not disappointed again, nice eating and friendly atmosphere. I'll see you soon.
That was a piece of heaven. beautiful small pub to foot from our campsite. beautiful friendly owners and employees. especially the food was delicious! we went two nights in a row. my brother had both pie. welsh venison burger is definitiw must. the pub garden goes back to the canal and is beautifully held. there is also access to the canal footpath if you have the pleasure to train an appetit before dinner.
A friendly welcome, clean and well kept pub and beer garden. The beer garden looks onto the canal which is lovely. Kids meals aren't cheap at £6.50 no pudding) but are home cooked and fresh and tasty. Food was nice, we only had kids meals and some chips £3.50 per potion). Drinks are reasonably priced, nice cider on tap. Clean toilets and the inside seating looked nice and spacious. We sat in the beer garden where there were plenty of benches all spaced out.
