Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónWhen't there for a family meal for four, two of us decided to go for the formula (daily 3 course meal), the starter was fab, the main was skirt of beef in red wine with onions, was like chewing on a piece of leather, not much for the vegetarian, so she went for a cheese and tomato pizza, half of it was left as the base seemed undercooked.but the service was excellent
Reservation by phone was very correct and ok. We arrived to early but the restaurant was already serving guest. Our table was shown by an unfriendly waiter who gave us the menu without some explanation suggestions . Within shortest time he appeared again asking us what we wanted to order and drink. We asked him to have more time. Few minutes later a second try, where we ordered something without having the chance to absorbe the whole menu. As quick as we were asked, we were also served. A very good mozarelle with a tomate cut in slices not peeled and with the green part still in it . The main dish pasta was just cooked enough came also very soon after the plate of the starter was taken away. And guess what, as soon as I had finished the dish we got the request to order the desert. The fresh ? fruit salad was served within seconds and was not fresh and did not contain fruit if the region/season. Hotels often serve this fruit salad out of the container. Bottom line : my expectations were not met. Can't recommed the restaurant, except if you are in a hurry of course ;
Amazing staff, so so helpful and friendly. We had a lovely selection of Pizzas and then they made some pasta dishes to go for us to take with us for boyfriends that were doing a long cycle ride, they popped some Parmesan and bread in for free too!. A lovely restaurant.
I visit the restaurant with my wife and we taste foie gras for the13 euro not expensive and it was very tasty!!!!Exellent pizza I believe if you are in the area you must visit!!!
So myself, two friends and one's little boy came across this restaurant by accident... but BOY are we glad we did! We discovered Le Castello when our boyfriends' were midway through doing a charity cycle from London to Paris last weekend and Bresles was a rest stop for them. Us girls arrived in town first and we were all desperate for the loo. The very welcoming guys at Le Castello were more than happy for us to use their facilities. Our boyfriends arrived very tired and also needed to use the toilet facilities and again Le Castello were very accommodating. After our partners went on their way towards Paris, us girls decided to stay in Bresles for a while longer to lunch at Le Castello. Once again, the guys there couldn't of been more friendly and accmodating. The service was very good and our food was delicious! They even made time to chat with my one friend's little boy who was with us. Le Castello offer takeaway but our boyfriend's had asked for pasta for lunch at the next stop. Nothing was too much trouble for Le Castello who created three delicious pasta dishes to takeaway for our cyclist boyfriends. Even though we were clearly not local and instead from the UK, the guys at Le Castello went above and beyond to help us and make us feel very welcome. If I ever find myself back in Bresles, i'll be sure to go back to visit and have a meal. THANK YOU for everything Le Castello!!! P.s. All the best for your forthcoming competition in Birmingham by the way!
