Panera Bread - Brookfield

I felt embarrassed to have chosen this place for my meeting. By 3 PM, the staff had ample time to clean up after lunch, yet there seemed to be no effort to improve the dining area. During the hour I spent there, none of the three employees attended to the dirty tables, despite my mentioning it. They also didn’t bother to sweep or vacuum in preparation for the dinner rush. To make my immediate area more presentable for my guests, I took it upon myself to wipe down four tables and pick up trash from the floor. This wasn’t just a minor oversight; it highlighted a lack of management and care from the staff.

They decided to clean the vents and prepare food during open hours, right next to where customers were eating. There was even a woman at a table with a baby, and no one asked them to move. The dust balls started floating around in the kitchen, right near her and her baby. My husband approached the person at the front to speak with the manager, but we were told there was no manager available and that cleaning was 2 meters away from the food, which was clearly not true. This area near the ladder is where food is prepared and served. The management is poor, the environment is unclean, and it was a disrespectful experience overall. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant.

After experiencing a delay with our order, we observed a worker cleaning the air vents above the kitchen, causing dust to fall onto the floors and potentially contaminating the food surfaces in the cooking area. When we raised our concerns with the staff at the front, they assured us that the situation was safe and that we shouldn't worry about eating there. However, as you can see from the picture, the mess in the food preparation area is quite evident. Overall, I do not recommend dining here.

Clean environment, friendly staff and quick service despite being very busy. Food was very good even though we had it To Go! The Petite Chocolate Chip Cookies hit the Sweet Tooth spot!

It took them 45 minutes to make me a salad. When I ordered delivery half my meal was missing. I called to ask for a refund I was put on hold for half an hour and no one answered my call. Wouldn't suggest eating here because of the fact that they don't serve you properly.
