Panera Bread - Brookfield

I planned a customer meeting here at 3 pm on a busy packer Sunday, aware that a panera would not be busy, 3 pm not a busy meal. There were 3 more guests in the restaurant. Every single table I looked at was dirty. The floor was dirty everywhere. The staff was tidy and moved very slowly as if they had no worries in the world. Lid, cups, straws. Every counter surface dirty. The staff wears sweaters. I was embarrassed that I invited guests here. 3pm was more than enough time for the staff to get back after lunch. There was no one who ordered food, but this staff didn't care how the eating zone looked. In the hour when I was there, not one of the 3 employees came to clean tables (in spite of my mention) or Sweep/Vakuum to set back haste for the upcoming dinners. I wiped 4 tables near me and picked up garbage from the floor just to make my immediate area look less dirty for my guests. This was not a very busy or understated problem. That was a staff that is not a problem.

They decided to clean the vents and make food during the open hours while the customers made food right next to this. And there was a lady with a baby at the table. Nobody even asked them to move. She just started shattering the dust balls when they float in the whole kitchen and the lady with her baby. My husband went to talk to the manager, the person on the front said there was no manager and argued that there was 2 meters away from the food. This is clearly not the case. This area at the ladder is the food precursor and window area. Bad management, dirty, respectful and disappointing. Wouldn't recommend.

After a clogged order, we noticed that a worker stripped the air vents over the kitchen, where dust fell on the floors and possibly also the food surfaces in the cooking area. After complaining to the workers at the front, they said that they were far enough to be fine and not to eat. If you can see from the picture, it is clear in the food prep area to make a mess. NOT HERE

I misunderstood my order and seemed angry. Next sandwich had a cold slice of cheese and eggs that were still cold in the middle. Maybe it was just a bad time to stop, but it was just experience with the chain. It won't come back.

Clean environment, friendly staff and quick service despite being very busy. Food was very good even though we had it To Go! The Petite Chocolate Chip Cookies hit the Sweet Tooth spot!
