Broma's Deli - Brookhaven

My last visit to this restaurant was quite enjoyable, but tonight was disappointing. I waited for an hour and 20 minutes only to receive cold food. The bread basket was incredibly soggy, to the point that the cardboard was disintegrating. I don't understand why the wait was so long, only to be served cold meals. I'm not happy with my experience at all.

I visited this restaurant for lunch on September 23, 2022. The food was tasty, the establishment was clean, and the staff were polite and courteous. My only wish is that the portion sizes were a bit larger.

The burnt cheese and bread ruined the flavor of what could have been a great grilled pimento and cheese sandwich. The bread was also charred, and there was a significant piece of burnt cheese on the Reuben I ordered as well. This was during the mid-afternoon with no other customers present and only one takeout order on the counter. I cannot recommend either of these dishes, although the baked potato was well-prepared; however, it was challenging to eat without any cutlery.

*UPDATE* 08.22.22 The food is still delicious and the service is still very good. We generally eat here when we come to Brookhaven. Keep up the great work! Great atmosphere. Friendly staff. Great food (and prices). Can'twait to return.

Total waste of time , money and our health sucks to have to just throw away $40 in food directly into the trash. Usually on road trips we try not to get fast food and give little places like this a chance, waited 45 minutes for a peanut butter andjelly, sandwich and fries and the fries are cold when we?re told we?re just waiting on the fries to be done I does not appearthe employees take pride in what they?re doing, or may just be inexperienced. Very unorganized and a total let down, wasexpecting at least better service and quality then McDonald?s.
