I recently had an extended stay at the Gold Eagle Inn. This quaint 1960 travel lodge welcomes interstate travelers and locals to its wonderful restaurant/motel. Conveniently located near restaurants, gas stations, fast food, laundry and small stores. My pet friendly room was clean and neat, with a comfortable bed, cable TV, Wifi and refrigerator. The bathroom had lots of hot water and a shower/tub with a seat built in. The price was very reasonable and lower than most in the area. Free breakfast included fruit, cereal, oatmeal, granola bars, coffee, tea and hot chocolate. The staff and owners always promptly responded to any requests. I would definitely suggest staying in this hotel when in the area.
