Tacho - Caldas da Rainha

It is a small restaurant, and sometimes they are too busy and something more than you want, BUT, we really enjoy one of the best Arroz al Tamboril de Portugal.

A beautiful centrally located Portuguese restaurant. We had lunch, the fish soup was delicious and the bread was warm from the oven. The service was fast and satisfactory.

The food was good but definetly wasn’t worth 13 €,staff was terrible and arrogant.They were non-stop looking at us and didn’t gave us space to talk in privacy.The worst experience was that they brought a plate with some local cheeses and didn’t told us that...we must pay for that if we eat something from plate and afterwards they written it on the bill.

This restaurant is hidden away but well worth a visit. The staff are well mannered and polite and the food is traditional but tasty and well presented. Excellent quality meat plus vegetarian dishes available and very generous portions too. I highly recommended this restaurant and...indeed we enjoyed it so much that we went there twice for a meal. The house burger in particular was delicious and the white sangria is especially good.

Espaço muito agradável, acolhedor e com bom ambiente. Escolhemos um prato do dia que estava bem confecionado e saboroso. A sobremesa foi cavaca recheada com mousse de lima que recomendo. O atendimento é também muito bom. Preço justo.
