Alberta Wing Shack - Canmore

We were craving a little Deep fried food one night and saw this place listed in the area with good reviews. As a fellow local guide I took notice of a few other rave reviews from other local guides. This place NAILS the fried wings! Excellent breading and crispy skin on every wing, the wet sauce is plentiful and the dry runs are seasoned well. The Combos are the best deal, we generally can eat a bunch of wings but the combo #2 was the perfect amount for 2. I wish we knew about this place from day 1 of vacation. The service was friendly and super helpful. I watched the girl behind the til confidently suggest flavours for people who were unsure. And the local RCMP eat here and are on first name basis with the staff. 10/10 would recommend

So many flavors to try and the wings are great! Nice and crunchy with a good slather of sauce. They do make to order so don't expect cheap pre cooked wings. Will have to come back when we're back here.

Friendly staff and yummy food! We got the (the Canucks (garlic Parmesan), The Montreal Canadians (sweet and spicy), and chicken fingers. The wings were big and juicy! I found the Montreal Canadians flavour more sweet vs spicy which may help you decide if you want that flavour or not. Both the sweet potato fries and curly fries were also an extra charge if you want to upgrade your sides.
