Here at an unpromptu visit in chemainus with our children in the tow. the eating options were presented at great height at the front counter, but we were told to eat Indian, was good no joke! we enjoyed a massive common Indian lunch for...sometimes while the children enjoyed hot dogs (each, about right prices). the Indian food was surprisingly delicious and the part for two to share was also generous. service was friendly and helpful!
Very friendly, and lovely home-made food. Soup was delicious. Close to historic centre, and behind Waterwheel park.
We had coffee, which was good. However, cafe latte costs which is very expensive. We also had a cinnamon bun that tasted ugly and costs more than five dollars. There are better ways to spend money ...
We were disappointed. ...for local restaurants closed on Monday when all the tourist businesses were OPEN. We arrived at the Maple Lane Cafe min. Before closing and the wait staff bent over backwards to make sure we got her Special of the day. ROAST...BEEF SAND and salad with the best ripe tasty tomatoes and fresh blueberries with great salad dressing. This was our first visit to Chemainus....arriving by boat. The Marina Small but new concrete docks were nice. A huge container ship was loading cedar lumber....very interesting to watch. The murals around town are great.
